At The Dad Project, we believe every man deserves a space to connect, reflect, and grow. Life comes with its challenges, whether it’s navigating relationships, mental health, career pressures, or personal development and no one should have to go through it alone. Our meet-up groups are built around community, honesty and support, creating spaces where men can have real conversations and build meaningful connections.

The Dad Project was created by Naroop Jhooti, a men’s mental health advocate.

Having experienced the weight of loneliness, confusion and the pressure of conforming to traditional masculine ideals, Naroop understands firsthand the profound impact that unspoken emotions can have on a man’s life.

His own battles with mental health became the catalyst for his vision of creating a movement where men are no longer expected to silently shoulder their burdens.

Instead, Naroop envisions a world where men have the confidence to speak openly about their challenges, the strength to embrace vulnerability and the unwavering support to grow into the best versions of themselves.

Through The Dad Project, he is determined to change the narrative around men’s mental health, fostering a community that encourages authenticity, resilience, and true emotional well-being. Naroop’s mission is simple: to help men not just survive, but thrive.

While The Dad Project began as a podcast about fatherhood, its meaning runs deeper.

Naroop realised through his conversations with the guests that the word “dad” has always symbolised guidance, strength, and wisdom - qualities every man, father or not, can embody.

But not everyone had that kind of role model growing up... and too many men still feel lost without one. This is why The Dad Project exists - not just to support fathers, but to redefine what it means to be a man.
